stephen kalinich 03 Stephen KalinichStephen John Kalinich is an American poet, born in Endicott, New York. He collaborated with countless musicians, including P.F. Sloan, and Diana Ross. He wrote several songs for The Beach Boys, including “Be Still”, “Little Bird” and “A Time To Live In Dreams” with Dennis Wilson, “Child of Winter”, and most recently two songs on Brian Wilson’s “Getting In Over My Head”-album, one of which features shared lead vocals by Paul McCartney.

Brian also re-recorded their collaboration “California Feeling” on a classics compilation. Stephen released a joint project with Brian, entitled “A World Of Peace Must Come”. It’s an album of poems with musical backing by Wilson. Dennis Wilson’s legendary “Pacific Ocean Blue”/”Bambu Sessions” feature Stephen’s lyrics on “Rainbows” and “Love Remember Me”.

In 2011, ‘Stephen Kalinich And Friends’ released the album “California Feeling” (Foothill Records).
